Do you offer internships?

Yes! We offer both summer internships and year-round internship opportunities and we offer internships to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

How do I know whether I should apply as an intern or as a new college graduate?

An intern is someone who is currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, and is actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. If you have already graduated and are no longer registered in a degree earning program then we encourage you to check out available new college graduate opportunities.

A new college graduate is someone who has earned his/her most recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the past 12 months, or is about to earn his/her degree. The number of years of experience that you have does not matter as long as your graduation date is less than a year ago.

Can you tell me the types of positions that I qualify for?

Being proactive in identifying positions that YOU are interested in will result in the best possible match for your job search outcome. However, all of our new college graduate and intern positions are listed on the website.

Does Symantec offer a formal MBA rotation program?

We encourage MBAs to rotate after 12 – 18 months in a position. However, there is no compulsory rotation expectation. Some MBAs remain in positions for multiple years to deepen their skill set while others rotate to gain a broader experience.

What jobs do you currently have open?

All of our current openings are listed on our website. However, positions open up and are filled on an on-going basis throughout our recruiting season. If you are interested in a specific type of a position but cannot find a current opening on our website you can set up a job alert to receive notifications when positions of interest become available.

When do you recruit for full-time positions?

We are always looking for talented individuals, however the main recruiting season for full-time positions is the Autumn. Please visit the campus calendar section to learn more.

When do you recruit for internship positions?

As with full-time positions, we are always looking for talented individuals. The main recruiting season for internships is typically the Winter and Spring. Please visit the campus calendar section to learn more.

How do I apply for an open position?

The best way to apply for a position is to visit our website, locate the positions that you are interested in and apply directly online. Alternatively come and see us when we are participating in a career fair or other type of event on your campus. You can also submit your resume for consideration to your career center when we are scheduling on campus interviews at your school.
