MBA Finance Program
Your first role may or may not be in your area of expertise. Don’t worry. We want you to take on new responsibilities and become a capable leader here. We encourage you to change roles and responsibilities to help gain the breadth and depth of experience needed to be successful and make a greater impact at Symantec. Your new career will begin in one of the following areas: Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Unit Finance, Pricing & Licensing or Investor Relations within the CFO organization. Your role will include a variety of finance and business analysis, such as developing business metrics used to make operating decisions, evaluating acquisitions and new business models, conducting competitive and market analysis, or creating institutional shareholder communications.
Here are some highlights of the program:
  • Role flexibility – you will be encouraged to rotate within the CFO organization after 18 to 24 months
  • Tackle a finance project with other MBAs and work directly with executive management to make business decisions
