Rep. Doris Matsui (D-CA) visits Symantec

March 15, 2012 Rep. Doris Matsui (D-CA) visited Symantec world headquarters in Mountain View, California, and met with Symantec executives to discuss Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing. During her visit, the Congresswoman met with Joe FitzGerald, Senior VP of Legal, Anne O’Neill, Senior Director for Symantec, Cloud, and Sourabh Satish, Distinguished Engineer for Security Technology and Response.

Congresswoman Matsui represents the 5th District of California which includes Sacramento and its surrounding areas. She is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and sits on the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, and the Subcommittee on the Environment and the Economy. She also serves as Co-Chair of the House High Tech Caucus.

Estonian Parliament Delegation visits Symantec

April 20, 2012 Members of the Estonian Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee visited Symantec world headquarters in Mountain View, California and met with Cheri McGuire, VP of Global Government Affairs & Cybersecurity Policy, Sourabh Satish, Distinguished Engineer for Security Technology and Response, and Brian Duckering, Senior Manager for mobility products. Discussions focused on the current cyber threat landscape, mobile security, and global public policy initiatives.
