All Current Symantec Products on 1996-1999 GSA Multiple Award Schedule

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- June 17, 1996 -- Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC) announced today that all of Symantec's products, including Delrina products, will be included on the 1996-1999 GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contracts for Group 70, Part I, Section B/C. Symantec will provide government resellers with commercially packaged product and license programs for their GSA Schedule contracts. Currently, Symantec's products are offered on the GSA Schedule contracts of ASAP, Softmart, Stream and GTSI. Symantec anticipates that several other authorized government resellers will add Symantec products to their GSA Schedule contracts in the near future.

GSA has made the program easier to use, easier to participate in, and is making it the procurement vehicle of choice for all government agencies," said Bill Stover, senior director of federal sales for Symantec.
