Repair Cited as Key Component of Anti-virus Solution
"It’s helpful if your mechanic tells you that you have a flat tire. But your problem isn’t solved until the tire is fixed," said Mary Engstrom, general manager of the AntiVirus Business Unit. "Most anti-virus solutions do detect at least some Word macro viruses, but Norton AntiVirus both detects and repairs every one of the top ten Word Macro viruses. We believe that the job of Norton AntiVirus is not done until we actually remove the viruses from your machine, and the researchers at SARC provide the tools to do just that."
