Like Symantec's leading contact management software for the personal computer, ACT! for Windows CE features a powerful database that tracks contact names, addresses, and daily activities. The Windows CE version offers the same familiar easy-to-use interface so users can quickly become productive with the program. ACT! for Windows CE offers seamless synchronization with ACT! for Windows so data can be exchanged between ACT! for Windows the desktop version and ACT! for Windows CE.

Instant access to contact information has become a standard in contact management, and ACT! for Windows CE provides users with direct access to their contact database. ACT! for Windows CE users can instantly look up names, addresses, and phone numbers. The comprehensive history log keeps an automatic record of all calls and meetings. Users can manage every day more efficiently by putting all essentials within reach from anywhere. Users can also easily capture information as it occurs, such as when new business cards are exchanged and as meetings and appointments are arranged and changed by the minute, that information can be documented and recorded on the spot.

With ACT!'s powerful activity scheduler and complete on-screen alarms, users can easily schedule phone calls, meetings and to-dos. Like the desktop version, users can view activities scheduled by day or week. Customers Try Out New Solutions
Symantec recently announced the opening of the world-wide software distribution of products on-line over the Internet. Customers can try software before purchasing by downloading a copy at ACT! for Windows CE Trial CD for download which is a lite version that limits the user to 25 records. Users can simply download the trial version or order a CD and then if they decide to purchase the product, they can easily transfer their data from the trialsize version to the full product.

Pricing and Availability
ACT! for Windows CE is now available from Symantec's network of authorized resellers for an estimated price of $99.95.

System Requirements
ACT! for Windows CE requires an HPC (Handheld Personal Computer) device with the Windows CE operating system version 1.0 installed and an IBM-PC or compatible running Windows 95 for installation of the software. ACT! for Windows CE requires 245 KB of free RAM for the program. On the desktop, ACT! for Windows CE requires 5 MB of free disk space to install and a CD-ROM drive. Also needed is the connection cable that comes with the HPC device which is required for installing ACT! and for linking the desktop version of ACT! with the HPC ACT! database. ACT! 3.0 for Windows 95 is required for linking desktop ACT! databases with HPC ACT! databases.
