(Nasdaq: CHKP) with pcAnywhere 9.0 remote access and remote control software. Together, these products enable IT professionals to use the Internet securely while remotely managing and supporting Microsoft Windows 95/98 and Windows NT systems via pcAnywhere. VPN-1 SecuRemote connects to Check Point Software's VPN-1 Gateway™ or VPN-1 Appliance™ and transparently encrypts and authenticates data traveling between the user's laptop and the corporate network to protect against eavesdropping and malicious data tampering.
