(Nasdaq: SYMC), a world leader in Internet security technology, today announced Diana Kelley, General Manager with Symantec Research Labs is participating in a panel presentation at the ISACC 2000 Conference, held Sept. 25 – 26 in Reston , Va. Kelley will be joining several panelists in a breakout session titled, "Security Case Studies: Business Driven Security Risk Management," which will be held on Sept. 25 from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

"The important panel discussion will reference past experience to help participants determine the most effective solutions to address the security risks that threaten their software development process."
The ISACC Conference offers expert speakers, hands-on tutorials, break-out sessions, and one-on-one consulting to help participants increase their knowledge base on issues such as software security, safety, and reliability. Kelley’s strong technology and consulting background includes frequent speaking engagements and writing contributions on security-related issues, more than ten years of experience in developing secure network architectures and eBusiness solutions, and previous experience as co-owner of an independent security technology planning consulting firm. Prior to joining Symantec, Kelley was vice president, corporate development for Lockstar, a security software vendor. In addition, she was security analyst at Hurwitz Consulting Group, a leading management consulting and software research firm. Kelley also has management experience with KPMG’s Financial Consulting practice, and was previously a manager of corporate systems administration at Dataware Technologies.
