(Nasdaq: SYMC), a world leader in Internet security, today announced Diana Kelley, general manager with Symantec Research Labs, is addressing the CIO Perspective Conference Series, "Greater Expectations: The CIO and Corporate Strategy," to be held in Phoenix, Ariz. on Oct. 15-18. The break-out session featuring Kelley will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 3:15 to 4 p.m. The session will address the increasingly complex challenges of network security and the steps for effective risk prevention and protection throughout the enterprise organization.

Prior to joining Symantec, Kelley was vice president, Corporate Development for LockStar, a security software vendor. In addition, she was senior security analyst at Hurwitz Group, a leading management consulting and software research firm. Kelley also was manager with KPMG's Financial Consulting practice, and was previously a manager of Corporate Systems Administration at Dataware Technologies.
