CUPERTINO, Calif. - March 20, 2001 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Rob Clyde, vice president and chief technologist of Symantec's Enterprise Solutions Division, will speak at WebTEK 2001 to be held March 20-22, 2001, in Quebec, Canada.

The WebTEK conference is a technical training event focusing on the "why's" and "how's" of web technologies and applications for today's business.
