Symantec Offers Free Webcast to Educate Users on Providing Secure Remote Access

CUPERTINO, Calif. - June 11, 2001 - Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced its latest Webcast, "What You Need to Know to Close the Remote Access Hole in Your Network Security." As businesses open their networks to customers, remote offices, and partners, they must protect themselves from unwanted internal and external intrusions. Symantec's Webcast will educate attendees about balancing their need for remote access with the requirement to secure their network.
