University Of Louisville Selects Symantec To Secure Networks

School Standardizes On Symantec Antivirus Solutions

CUPERTINO, Calif. - Feb. 13, 2002 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that the University of Louisville has selected Symantec to provide Internet security solutions to the more than 12,000 desktop, server and gateway levels that make up all of the school's computer network.

Under the terms of the two-year agreement, Symantec will provide the University of Louisville with antivirus protection against malicious code at all virus entry points, along with technical support by Symantec's security experts. Products were sold to Louisville through Software Express.
