Symantec Experts Discuss Hacking Behaviors and Internet Security Vulnerabilities at InfoSec World Conference and Expo 2002 In Orlando

CUPERTINO, Calif. - March 14, 2002 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that two Symantec Internet security experts will be featured at InfoSec World Conference and Expo 2002 in Orlando, Florida, March 18-20.

Rob Clyde, vice president and chief technology officer, will present "Hacking: An Illustration of Exploitative Behaviors" from 3:30-5:00 p.m. on March 18, 2002. Clyde will discuss how hackers can break into and take control of a system. He will also demonstrate how enterprises can protect against the latest breed of threats and hack attacks.

Harold Toomey, product manager of policy management, will participate in the "Vulnerability Testing Tools Vendor Shoot-Out" panel from 7:15 - 8:15a.m. on March 19, 2002. Ken Cutler, of the Information Security Institute, will moderate the panel as the various vendors outline their enterprise vulnerability testing tools and solutions.

InfoSec World is an annual event dedicated to information security. The event features industry experts discussing the latest security topics, providing live demonstrations and participating in panel discussions. InfoSec World provides attendees with targeted learning and networking opportunities.
