Dee Liebenstein, senior product manager of Symantec Security Response, will present, "New Information Security Threat," from 11:00 a.m. 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2002. Liebenstein will explore the nature of today's blended threats, computer worms and viruses, and how the threats may evolve in the years ahead. She will also address the need for comprehensive, integrated security solutions to protect critical computer systems from potential attacks in the future.
Liebenstein is senior product manager for Symantec Security Response, a team of dedicated intrusion detection experts, security engineers, virus hunters and global technical support teams that work in tandem to provide extensive coverage for enterprise businesses and consumers. Liebenstein manages the business case and customer requirements for new service offerings. Specifically, she has been focused on enhancing the Symantec Security Response information and updating services.
Rob Clyde, vice president and chief technology officer at Symantec, will present, "Secure Mobile Computing: Arming the Road Warrior for Battle," from 3:30 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2002. In his presentation, Clyde will examine new and emerging technology for the remote user and the information security concerns associated with it. He will also discuss appropriate mobile security policies, processes and technologies essential for safe computing.
