CUPERTINO, Calif. - March 24, 2004 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that Symantec swept the Client Security category, which included antivirus and desktop firewall solutions, and won the overall and technical awards for the Enterprise Security category, which included VPN, server firewall, and intrusion detection solutions, in the 2004 CRN Channel Champions survey.
Channel partners gave Symantec's solutions top marks in both categories, noting product reliability and accuracy, pricing and performance, and ease of management. Additionally, channel partners recognized the Symantec Partner Program for its training and certification opportunities, consistency of resources over time, and communication about changes to the company's solution portfolio.
