NEW YORK - January 18, 2005 - VERITAS Software Corporation (Nasdaq: VRTS) channel partners, including Bell Microproducts, CDW Corporation, DLT Solutions, TechData and The Lloyd Group, voiced strong support today for the company's new VERITAS Backup Exec™ 10.0 Suite of Windows data protection software. The company also announced the VERITAS Virtual Academy, a new online, on-demand education center for partners and users of VERITAS software solutions worldwide, as well as new course offerings to help partners sell, deliver and support the Backup Exec 10.0 Suite (see related press releases, issued today).
