VERITAS Software Corporation CEO to Present at Thomas Weisel Partners Tech 2005 Conference

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - February 2, 2005 - VERITAS Software Corporation (NASDAQ:VRTS) today announced that Gary Bloom, President and Chief Executive Officer of VERITAS Software, will present at the Thomas Weisel Partners Tech 2005 Conference at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time on February 7, 2005, at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
