VARBusiness Names VERITAS Backup Exec a Mid-Market Product of the Year

VARBusiness Magazine deems Backup Exec software best for small to medium businesses.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - May 9, 2005 - VERITAS Software Corporation (Nasdaq: VRTS) today announced that VERITAS Backup Exec™ 10.0 for Windows Server was selected by the editors of VARBusiness Magazine for the mid-market "Products of the Year" award. Editors were asked to vote on their product preferences geared toward the small to medium businesses, selecting from more than 400 nominated products.
