With the immediate availability of VERITAS Storage Foundation and VERITAS NetBackup software for AMD Opteron processor-based systems running Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux, as well as VERITAS OpForce software for Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux, and VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows Servers, VERITAS continues to deliver unparalleled platform flexibility and choice.
AMD Opteron processor-based systems offer new and better price/performance levels and enable customers to invest in 64-bit servers to run 32-bit applications today with the assurance of seamless migration to 64-bit applications in the future.
