(Nasdaq: SYMC), today announced that Gary Sevounts, Symantec's director of power and utilities industry strategies and solutions, is presenting at United Telecom Council's (UTC) 2005 SCADA Security Conference. The conference which explores critical infrastructure control systems takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico and runs from Sept. 21-22, 2005.
Sevounts' will participate in a panel entitled "Technology Partners" on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and will address the latest technology advancements and strategies for a sound security plan. The panel discussion will offer utility companies best practice recommendations for the protection of critical infrastructure assets and facilities.
