MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – September 23, 2010 – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the Symantec Alliance Network, a co-marketing initiative designed to help Symantec channel partners uncover new revenue opportunities with joint solutions from Symantec and select alliance partners. For alliance partners, the Symantec Alliance Network provides a platform for expanding their channel partner ecosystem and driving more revenue with their solutions. Leading technology vendors including Dell, ExaGrid, HP and Quantum have already joined the Symantec Alliance Network and have partnered with Symantec to create joint solutions and selling programs for channel partners.
Together, Symantec and the members of the Symantec Alliance Network create custom incentives, content, training and tools to help channel partners more effectively deliver multi-vendor solutions to their customers. With seamless integration between Symantec’s solutions and those of its participating partners, the Symantec Alliance Network helps channel partners drive more revenue and increase customer satisfaction with complete, industry leading solutions that maximize their customers’ IT investments.
Within the Symantec Alliance Network, channel partners receive education and resources that enable them to find new opportunities, differentiate themselves from their competitors and maximize revenue with larger deals. In addition to having access to solution-selling enablement tools, participating channel partners who learn about and sell joint solutions from Symantec and its alliance partners are rewarded with financial incentives.
The Symantec Alliance Network is currently open to all members of the Symantec Partner Program in North America.
