Symantec to Host 2011 Annual Stockholder Meeting

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Oct. 17, 2011 – Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced that it will host its annual stockholder meeting at the company’s headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. In addition, the meeting will be available via webcast. Following the conclusion of the meeting’s formal business, Enrique Salem, Symantec’s president and chief executive officer, will provide a review of Symantec’s corporate strategy and answer stockholder questions.
