Symantec to Host 2012 Annual Stockholder Meeting

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Oct. 8, 2012 – Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ:SYMC) today announced that it will host its annual stockholder meeting at the company's headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. In addition, the meeting will be available via webcast. Following the conclusion of the meeting's formal business, Steve Bennett, chairman, president and chief executive officer, will provide brief comments on the company’s priorities and will answer stockholder questions.
