Senior Director of Product Management, User Authentication
As senior director of product management for User Authentication, Adam Geller is responsible for worldwide product management and marketing for Symantec’s premiere public key infrastructure (PKI) offerings. In this role, Geller directs the product and go-to-market strategies for Symantec’s Enterprise and Government Authentication solutions that serve thousands of customers worldwide.
Prior to this role, Geller held various positions within VeriSign, Inc., most recently serving as the vice president of VeriSign’s Identity and Authentication Services where he led the company’s PKI initiatives. Geller also held the role of Director of Sales Engineering for VeriSign’s Security Services division where he provided technical pre-sales support and proposal services for the Americas and EMEA.
Geller began his career in information security working as a security consultant for Netrex Secure Solutions, one of the industry's first enterprise-class managed security services pure-plays. Netrex was eventually acquired by Internet Security Services (ISS) where Geller continued to focus on delivering enhanced managed security offerings. Geller left ISS to become the Eastern Region Consulting Manager for a Chicago-based startup network and security consulting firm, Exault. As the first security consultant hired at Exault, Geller helped develop methodologies and grow the consulting practice to over 70 consultants by the time the company was acquired by VeriSign in August 2001.
Geller has a B.S. from Cornell University and currently holds the designations of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
