Samir Kapuria is Vice President of Business Strategy and Security Intelligence at Symantec, leading and overseeing Symantec’s integrated security intelligence solutions and product management, CyberWar Games portfolio and engineering of the Global Intelligence Network (GIN). Additionally, he directs enterprise security strategy, advising on portfolio planning and investment opportunities which drive growth across the security portfolio.

Mr. Kapuria joined Symantec in 2004 through the acquisition of @stake, a leading cyber security consulting firm, where he served as Executive Advisor for global enterprise customers and was the head of business strategy and the services organization. During his tenure at Symantec, Mr. Kapuria has held several executive leadership positions and built many successful teams under his visionary approach. Most recently, he led the Symantec Enterprise Security Practice where he was responsible for product portfolio strategy, operations, security advisory services, executive management consulting and DLP service businesses.

A sought after thought-leader, Mr. Kapuria often speaks at high-profile industry events on topics of enterprise security, business strategy, threat intelligence and cyber security. He serves on corporate advisory boards helping guide next generation business strategy initiatives for senior executives. As a recognized industry authority, Mr. Kapuria counsels high-level government officials worldwide, advising on cyber security and emerging threats to critical infrastructure.
