Daniel Schulman

Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile USA

Daniel H. Schulman has been a member of Symantec's board of directors since March 2000. Since September 2001, Schulman has served as chief executive officer of Virgin Mobile USA, a cellular phone service provider.

From May 2000 until May 2001, Schulman was president and chief executive officer of priceline.com, after serving as president and chief operating officer from July 1999. Previously, Schulman was president of the AT&T Consumer Markets Division of AT&T Corp., a telecommunications services company, and was appointed to the AT&T Operations Group, the company's most senior executive body.

From March 1997 to November 1998, he was president of AT&T WorldNet Service. Prior to that, he was vice president, Business Services Marketing of the AT&T Business Markets Division and from May 1994 to November 1995, Schulman was Small Business Marketing vice president of the AT&T Business Markets Division. He also serves on the board of directors of Flextronics.

Schulman received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Middlebury College, and a master’s degree in business administration, majoring in Finance, from New York University.
