Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Manny Kostas leads Symantec’s global marketing organization. He brings extensive global experience in all dimensions of Marketing and has deep and relevant understanding of the Symantec marketing charter and approach with a strong digital curiosity.
Manny came to Symantec from Polycom, where he led the Worldwide Product and Program Management organization, tasked with shifting the business from hardware-based video and voice conferencing to a cloud-based delivery of collaboration for enterprise customers. While in this role, he led an effort to articulate commitment plans emphasizing the lifetime customer experience and aligned all product development investments to the brand promise.
Prior to this role, Manny was Chief Marketing Officer within Hewlett-Packard Company's Imaging and Printing Group, where he transformed global marketing to focus on the entire customer experience. In this role, Manny was responsible for driving worldwide marketing strategy, planning, and execution in the consumer, SMB, and enterprise segments. He has been a key leader during several innovation-driven industry shifts that grew HP's printing and web services business, with #1 market positioning in every category. Before joining HP, Manny was an account executive representing AT&T selling to the auto industry in Detroit, Michigan.
Manny holds a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University and a Masters of Management from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Download images
