Dr. Raphael Rubino is a post-doctoral researcher working in the Symantec SES EMEA research group and in Dublin City University on an IRCSET co-founded project, ConfidentMT. The focus of his work is machine translation and confidence estimation. His research interests concern also artificial intelligence, machine learning, text processing (information retrieval, classification, topic modeling, etc.) and any kind of corpus-based statistical analysis. His PhD thesis is about domain adaptation for statistical machine translation and he was graduated in 2011 from the University of Avignon, France. From 2008 to 2011, he was an assistant lecturer at the Centre d'Enseignement et de Recherche en Informatique (CERI), France. He is currently a member of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) and the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT).
