The Symantec Software Donation Program
Organizations applying to Symantec's Software Donation Program must:
- be of nonprofit, charitable, tax-exempt status
- have a non-religious primary purpose
- maintain an annual operating budget of less than $10 million USD
Symantec does not donate software to individuals, private foundations, religious organizations (churches, temples, mosques, seminaries and the like), political organizations or organizations having unlawful discriminatory practices.
Software donations may not be used for fundraisers, raffles or auctions; given to volunteers or nonprofit staff members for personal use; or resold at fundraising events of any kind.
Symantec reserves the right to the interpretation, application and administration of all aspects of its Software Donation Program.

Application Process
United States and Canada
Symantec’s US and Canadian Software Donation Program is powered by TechSoup Stock, the technology product philanthropy distribution service created by CompuMentor, a nonprofit organization specializing in technology assistance for community-based organizations and schools.
To apply, visit www.techsoup.org/stock and choose "Symantec" from the "Browse by Partner" menu on the left side of your screen. From here, you will be able to view the products available for donation and begin the application process.
All Other Countries
Software donation requests from all countries other than the United States or Canada must be sent to
community_relations@symantec.com. Please put "Software Donation Request" in the subject line of your email.
