W32.HLLW.Gaobot.AA is a worm that attempts to spread to the network shares with weak passwords. The worm uses multiple vulnerabilities, including:

• The DCOM RPC vulnerability (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-026) using TCP port 135. The worm specifically targets Windows XP machines using this exploit.
• The RPC locator vulnerability (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-001) using TCP port 445.

This threat also allows for a hacker to remotely access an infected computer through IRC.
