How to use SSR to recover a .GHO file?

I need a solution I seem to be missing something here.. I'm trying the Demo of SSR to restore a .GHO file to a machine, and am unable.  Everything I read says this plaftform is replacing Ghost, but how do I hit and restore legacy GHO files?
