Use the features of Storage Foundation for Windows to manage Windows hosts. This add-on allows administrators to configure and manage storage devices, data growth, and data recovery. With the graphical interface, an administrator can create and maintain dynamic disk groups, dynamic volumes, and configurations to provide data backups and recovery. When Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR) is enabled on the host, the administrator can also manage VVR.

Use the features of Storage Foundation Administration for Unix to manage Unix hosts. This add-on allows administrators to configure and manage storage devices on the hosts. With the graphical user interface, an administrator can create, maintain and administer disk groups, volumes and filesystems. If Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR) is enabled on the hosts, it also allows the administrator to create, manage, and administer the Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR) configurations.

Simplify complex migrations of data from one array to another. This add-on provides a simple graphical interface that allows volumes to be moved between homogeneous or heterogeneous storage arrays without taking applications offline. Migrations can be executed immediately or scheduled to occur at a later time.

This add-on also provides an impact analysis report. The report allows administrators to see the storage dependencies that applications have and the impact that a volume migration can have on those applications. In doing so, risks can be minimized before migrations takes place.
