Second, for messaging security, the ISD team relies on Symantec Brightmail Gateway, which filters out approximately 200 gigabytes of incoming spam each month, equating to $36,000 in annual storage savings. Third, the ISD team manage approximately 18,000 client endpoints and over 1,100 data center servers with Altiris Server Management Suite and Altiris Client Management Suite. The benefits are myriad—from a 98 percent first-pass security update process to dramatically shorter provisioning times for new clients and data center servers.
