Move EV Vault Store | Symantec Connect

Move EV Vault Store We are using Enterprise Vault 2007 (v7.5) and installed on a Windows 2003 server. Sorry about that I don't know how to find which SP that we had applied. And due to the 2TB limitation in Windows 2003, we are planning to divided 5 partition (2TB each) on our new storage device. So how can we switch to other partition when the existing one was nearly full in future?

Close NTFS Vault store partition and then enable EV Collection | Symantec Connect

Opinions differ. I am in favor of using collections, but only for items older than 1 year. In addition, I also believe this should be used when moving the cab-files to 3rd line storage.

EV vault store partition disk size recommendation | Symantec Connect

If it's a file device then larger partitions are available. We use between 600-800gb luns on Win 2k3 on SAN attached storage, which lasts us a month per volume. Moving forward I would look at around 1tb luns under 2008 on file devices.

Moving users within the same EV site, different vault stores Is this possible? (I actually was under impression that this would happen automatically until the other day when we closed all vault store partitions in the old location's vault store and the users who moved from old location to the new location stopped being archived because there is no open vault store partition available for them) Discussion Filed Under:
