STATUS CODE 124 : Attempts to back up the NetBackup database fail with a Status Code 124 , NetBackup database backup failed, a path was not found or is inaccessible.
It was seen sometimes that the streams.lck file cause NetBackup catalog backup to fails with status code 124 (NB database backup failed, a path was not found or is inaccessible). streams.lck files are to do with the NetBackup s stream discovery process - for multiple streams backups (and some other type of backups, too) NetBackup will initiate stream discovery process, and the lock file would be created.
