DOCUMENTATION: How to determine if Lotus Notes databases are being modified during a backup

Any line similar to this where the second number (in the above case, 1143626) is greater than zero indicates a database which has changed during the backup. This is a byte count, so in the above example 1,143, 626 bytes (or just a megabyte) of information changed in the database during the backup. The more databases with changes and the larger the amount of changed data, the slower the backup run.
