As of 1-March 2011, Symantec is no longer providing technical support for Mail Security 4.x for Domino, including any Maintenance Packs (MPs) and/or patches for each version, in all released languages.  Online self-service support in the Knowledge Base will continue to be available for a minimum of 3 years.

Symantec recommends that you upgrade to latest product version that supports your operating system and version of Domino.  In the interest of keeping your environment secure, Symantec also recommends that you upgrade to the latest version of Domino and that you use a version of your operating system that is currently supported by the vendor.

Note: This product will no longer be capable of authenticating, downloading, or installing content such as AntiVirus definitions or product updates after 30-April-2011 due to an expring Symantec root certificate called SymRoot1. We strongly urge you to upgrade to a more current version of the product that has a newer root certificate. Symantec recommends the following migration paths:

Mail Security 8.0.7 for Domino

• Recommended for customers who use Windows 2003 or later with Lotus Domino 7.x or later.

Mail Security 7.5.10 for Domino

•  Recommended for customers who use Windows 2000 with Lotus Domino 6.5 or later.  This version also provides support for Windows 2003 and Lotus Domino versions 8.5.1 / 8.0.x / 7.5.
