This is to inform you that Symantec Corporation has just issued a Software Alert. This is a critical technical issue for:
- NetBackup Media Server Deduplication Pool 7.0.1 (with EEB), 7.1, 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206
- NetBackup 5200/5220 Appliances 2.0 and 2.0.1 where configured to use a MSDP
...when duplicating images from a MSDP to a PureDisk Deduplication Option (PDDO) storage pool, which may reside either on a NetBackup server OR on a NetBackup PureDisk 5000/5020 Appliance (any version).
