Description
| Issue | Workaround, if any |
| You receive an error message while trying to stream an upgrade package in a 64-bit OS that was created in Wise Virtual Composer 6.1 SP4. | Recompile the upgrade package with Wise Virtual Composer 6.1 SP6. Recompiling adds an updated checkapp.bat file that enables the package to be streamed. |
| 32-bit applications packaged on a 64-bit computer are not displayed in the portal on a 32-bit computer. | Recompile the 32-bit application on a 32-bit computer. |
| Adding a Data Access component to a Front End server can cause the Front End server to stop working if the installation source is unavailable. | Installation files are extracted to %temp%\DISK1. Make sure this folder is available before you add components.
If you remove this folder and then later attempt to add a Data Access component to the Front End server, if the files are not found a rollback can occur which might cause your Front End server to stop working. |
| After upgrading Microsoft Outlook 2007 a duplicate shortcut might be displayed in the Streaming App Manager. | This is caused when Outlook add an additional shortcut to the quick launch bar after creating its database and does not affect functionality. |
| You receive a “no user groups found” message while searching from the Manager User Group page for cyclic groups and users after upgrading your server from 6.1 SP4 to 6.1 SP6. | Restart the Streamlet Engine service or restart the computer. |
| With IE 7 installed, after deleting a package from the Streaming Agent cache on Windows 64-bit you must restart the computer before you can re-stream the same package. | Upgrade to IE 8 or restart the computer after deleting the package from cache if you want to stream the application again. |
