Fixes in 6.1 SP6 MP1 HF1
The following table contains the fixes that are included in HF1.
| Fixed an issue that prevented dependent packages from streaming when using an SSL connection to the launch server. |
| Fixed an issue that caused registry values edited in SWV Admin to not save correctly (only the first character was saved). |
| Fixed an issue that was causing a crash after multiple deactivates in specific circumstances. |
| Fixed an issue that prevented ACL permissions from being applied properly to active layers during new user logon. |
| Fixed an issue that prevented 32-bit .NET 1.1 from being virtualized on 64-bit platforms. |
| Fixed additional issues to improve Workspace Virtualization stability. |
Installation instructions
This version can be used for new SWS and SWV installations. See http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3208 for instructions.
Upgrade Instructions
This release provides updated Workspace Streaming and Workspace Virtualization Agents. The Streaming Server components have not changed since version 6.1 SP6 MP1. If you have already deployed SWS SP6 MP1 you can rollout only the updated Streaming Agent.
To upgrade the Agent in existing SWS SP6 MP1 installations
- Browse to the Agent_Upgrade_6.1_SP6_MP1 folder that is included in the hotfix download.
- Copy this folder to each Front End server.
- Rename the SevAgents.exe file in the 32-bit and 64-bit Agent folders to install.iss.
- Copy the install.iss 32-bit agent installation file to <installdir>\awe\launchserv\webapps\launchserv\new.
- Copy the install.iss 64-bit Agent installation file to <installdir>awe\launchserv\webapps\launchserv\new\x64
