About using business analytics in Protection Center 2.x
The Protection Center business analytics functionality is provided through integration with Altiris IT Analytics Solution from Symantec. IT Analytics is a separate product that leverages the information that is collected from various Symantec security products and provides a unified view of this information to facilitate prioritized risk-based remediation. IT Analytics provides multi-dimensional analysis and robust graphical reporting as well as dashboards and out-of-the-box, visually informative Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards.
To use business analytics, you should install Symantec IT Analytics on a standalone server and integrate it with Protection Center.
