“If the host properties of the computer are configured with Prompt to confirm connection then for the Windows host, the Remote Connection Attempted dialog box is displayed containing the name of the remote user who attempts to log on. For the same configuration, on the Linux host and the Mac host, the pcAnywhere - Host Confirm dialog box is displayed. This dialog box displays the name of the remote user who tries to log on for the Linux host whereas for the Mac host the dialog box does not display the remote user name.”
“By default, this option is selected and the connection between the host and remote computers automatically disconnects after the set timeout period expires. The host user can accept or deny the connection. If you want to communicate with a remote computer where there is no user to confirm the connection, then you must use the Quick Deploy and Connect feature of pcAnywhere.
