Description



This article provides information on Windows 8 support in Deployment Solution 6.9 SP5 MR3 and lists the limitations for Windows 2012 support.

 

Deployment Solution 6.9 SP5 MR3 supports Windows 2012 with the following limitations:

  • The Windows 2012 operating system is not displayed correctly in the console for the managed computers.
  • Deployment of Sysprep image disables the DHCP client services and hence the computer will not have an IP address. This results in the subsequent task in the job to hang.
  • In certain scenarios, the Symantec Management Agent fails to install.
