How do I configure escalations on a Dialog component in a Workflow project?


A dialog workflow component can be configured to escalate the task after a determined amount of time:

  1.  Using the configuration on the Event tab of a Dialog Workflow component:


  2. Click the Add button to add a time span to wait before the escalation starts:

  3. Configure the Decision Model to perform a task when an escalation time frame occurs:

Note:  Any configured escalations must execute before a timeout path will execute.  The timer for a dialog timeout will start after the last escalation has executed.  If you are experiencing problems with escalations or timeouts not executing, please see KB 43630 for authentication configuration.
