How does license expiration affect Carbon Copy Solution functionality?

If the AUP / license expires for Carbon Copy Solution, will the ability to initiate a Remote Control session be affected?
With Carbon Copy Solution 6.1, when the license expires, a pop-up dialog appears to indicate the license expiration. Furthermore, the Carbon Copy connection was blocked.
With Carbon Copy Solution 6.2, the behavior is different. When the license expires, the connection is not blocked. A pop-up dialog should appear, to notify the user that the license has expired. Then the Carbon Copy connection will proceed as expected.
