About upgrading from existing installations of Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5
Backup Exec System Recovery Manager 8 or higher does not support the backup management of existing installations of Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 on client computers. Instead, you must upgrade Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 to version 8 or higher.
