About using event log information to troubleshoot problems
When Backup Exec System Recovery performs an action, it records the event (for example, when a backup job runs). It also records program error messages.
You can use the event log to track down the source of problems or to verify the successful completion of a backup job.
See Logging Backup Exec System Recovery messages.
Log entries provide information about the success or failure of numerous actions that were taken by Backup Exec System Recovery or by a user. It offers a single view of all of the information and program error messages.
