Question
How can a user check if tracking packages got prepopulated?
Answer
When tracking packages are set to prepopulate, they won't be displayed on the portal (tracking packages don't need to be provisioned explicitly to users, they are provisioned by default to the 'Local\ All Users' group) and won't appear on the agent GUI. Therefore, to verify that a tracking package was indeed prepopulated, do the following:
1. Open the command line.
2. Navigate to the client bin folder (in versions 6.1 and above the bin folder is by default located under C:\Program Files\Symantec\Endpoint Virtualization\Workspace Streaming\Agent\Bin).
3. Type "AppMgrCmd.exe -lt" and press enter. This command will display all the cached applications including tracking packages.
