Backing up Active Directory

Use the following steps to back up Active Directory.

Note: |
You cannot back up databases to devices that are attached to a computer on which the Remote Media Agent for Linux Servers is installed. |
To backup Active Directory

On the View by Resources tab, under All Resources, expand the name of the computer that contains the Active Directory that you want to back up.

In the task pane, under Settings, click Microsoft Active Directory.

To run the job now
Click Run Now.
To schedule the job to run later
Do the following in the order listed:

In the task pane, under Frequency, click Schedule.

Set the scheduling options.
See Scheduling jobs.

Click Submit.
