Global Exclude options for compression

You can prevent specific files or folders from being compressed by using a global exclude. When you use a global exclude, the types of files or folders that you select remain uncompressed for all users.

Shows the name of the item that is excluded from compression.

Description

Shows the user-defined description of the item that is excluded from compression.

Apply to

Indicates whether the excluded item applies to files, folders, or both files and folders.

Exclude all files greater than

Lets you exclude files that are larger than a specific size.
